I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, my voice is back! The bad news is, my nose is running away instead. Think I got the flu when my bro lowered the fan that day, then it kept blowing at me.
Anyway...yesterday was a bad bad day for me. I went Far East with my mum and her ex-student to get my bro's new handphone (after so many which failed him miserably), but before that , we had lunch at Beauty World, or somewhere near there. I duno why they call it beauty world when I didn't see any beauties there, but that's besides the point. There was such a variety of food there! We had chicken rice and a few side dishes (which was mostly fried =_= so I couldn't eat much except for the chicken only). Then it started pouring very heavily. Why does the tian always create such timely downpours? That day when I wanted to go training also the same thing happened. I saw something there which was really amusing though. I guess it's just coincidental that I was eating chicken before that. See this:
Direct translation: Buying good/spoilt hand chickens.
This advert was found somewhere near 'Ng Kim Lee' cakes and confectionery shop which we went to later. I like their yam cakes! There're also mini muffins-14flavours in total, dou sa bing, egg tarts, pies, cakes and many more things. Here's the address if anyone's interested :
4, Chun Tin Road. Opp Beauty World Plaza. S'pore 599591.
Like I'm advertising for them haha.
After that, we drove to Marina Square to walk around. Marina Square was so damn cold that I wonder if the person controlling the air-con has mistaken shoppers for chilled meat. It's that kinda cold that makes your nose hurt everytime you breathe. It wasn't such an enjoyable shopping trip, with Ma taking almost an hour inside the D.I.Y store. Sorry, but I dun have an affinity for electrical parts and showerheads or containers-that-make-your-kitchen-look-neater. So I ended up strolling around John Little alone. Then I decided to get something warm to drink and luckily Jolliebean was just around the corner. But after I ordered, I realised my wallet was with my mum (earlier on I left my bag in the car so she helped me keep my wallet), so I gota go back to the store to find her before walking back to Jolliebean again =_= so paiseh that I had to tell the lady that I had to go get my wallet first.
Then my father called me halfway, asking me about some internet problem due to connection with the internet. How am I supposed to fix it over the phone? Like I can do telepathy with the computer like that. Then he got fed up and hung up on me, when I didn't even do anything wrong. That alone was infuriating enough, coz I cannot, CANNOT stand people hanging up on others unlesss the other party is incredibly rude, or it's some prank call. It's like leaving the other person there talking to him/herself, which was what happened to me before I realised the conversation had ended. In the end, I fixed the problem in 5 min when I got home.
To further test my patience, my bro started smsing me, asking if I was with Ma, then I said yeah and he asked where were we. I dun understand why he likes to send one question per sms, but the previous incident irked me too much for me to entertain this one, so I just called him. In the end he said nothing, he just wanted to know where we were. He likes to go one big round to achieve his motive (which until now I had no idea what. Maybe he wanted to know how soon he can get his hands on his new phone) but really, one sms per question is really wasteful. And not to mention vexing.
That's why yesterday wasn't a good day for me. One thing good came out of it though..I got so tired that I went to bed at 9pm and managed to sleep for 10 hours! My auto alarm clock never fails to wake me up early. Blessing or bane? Depends.
Ok guess I better go study a bit..better than leaving everything to the last minute. 100% guarantee STRESS! Haha.
If life gives you lemons, make lemonades--And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years---Do not take life too seriously;you will never get out of it alive--To love and win is the best thing. To love and lose, the next best--Variety is the spice of life--Life doesn't require that we be the best, only that we try our best--Life's problems wouldn't be called "hurdles" if there wasn't a way to get over them--Life has no limitations, except the ones you make.
