I'm just really really shag now. Woke up at 8am coz my niece came over since her grandma isn't feeling well. Then had breakfast, packed newspapers, mopped floor, helped my grandma with preparations for making dumplings (which included laying newspapers on the floor, getting stools, washing dishes, etc,), went downstairs 3 times to give dumplings and take care of the little one.
Now I know taking care of a 7-year-old isn't easy. She doesn't sit still..one moment she can be playing the keyboard, then the next she wants to watch Tom and Jerry. So I play the vcd for her and she scuttles off into my room for treasure hunting (for new games).
On top of that, I was in charge of cooking the dumplings and watching the fire. I only had the opportunity to make 3 dumplings coz the little one wanted to play uno with me. I didn't get a picture of the third one, but my second one definitely was better than the first.
Later in the afternoon, I was teaching her English since her mum wanted her to do some practices. She was learning about 'has' and 'have', so I was explaining to her when to use which, then after she finished the practice and I asked her again, she forgot everything, or rather she chose not to rmb coz she's done with it. Then she was browsing my songs in the phone and asked for Sexyback and Apologize. Looks like she's a fan of Justin Timberlake..but she's only 7 years old and knows the lyrics to Sexyback already. Look how influential is media nowadays. Then I played Summer Love and both of us started dancing to it haha.
It wasn't easy to get her to nap for a while coz she just kept running around. Then even when she laid down on the bed, she couldn't stop giggling at me (for who knows wad reason). She finally fell asleep and I got my much needed 1hour nap too.
Eh nanny on offer! $5 per hour! Housework included.
